A few months after the market launch of the Digital Pen Camera E-P1 published an improved version. New is the possibility to connect an electronic viewfinder, two additional image filters and various minor improvements.

The Olympus Pen E-P2 is a system camera for the Micro Four Thirds standard. It has a Live MOS image sensor with a resolution of 12 megapixels – the same as the predecessor E-P1. However, Olympus has responded to criticism of the lack of viewfinder and the E-P2 with the “Accessory Port facilities.
