After a first version suitable, Lenovo released a small update to its NETBOOK. On paper, the only significant change is the abandonment of port Express Card 34 mm (it was one of the only to have such connections) for a chip 3G/3G +. A NETBOOK coming in rank?

Design side, Lenovo has chosen lightness. The white hull of the version we received is wearing a gray ground which gives it a more casual look than some of its austere colleagues. While not as good as the Toshiba NB200 and other luxury models, the bodywork is good. In the proper standard, nothing more.

If we had the opportunity to test the product in a foreign version, with a 3 cell battery, Lenovo is well aware that the market is tough on the European continent. The manufacturer should finally market its IdeaPad S10-2 cells that version 6. This is not wrong, the battery cell 3 that has given 2 hours and 4 minutes to hours of our test protocols. The 6-cell should roughly take about 4 hours. This puts the laptop in the average.
Good weight, good eye

In version 3 cells, it weighs 1 kg small. And only 1.2 kg in 6-cell version. Although not a true champion of the lightness, the S10-2 is doing a good job. Ditto on the LCD and keyboard, classical, the two elements are of high quality and very functional. Again, the machine can not be distinguished from the competition with a larger screen or a keyboard with keys spaced, but gives a partition already played but quality.
3G in the trunk

It is behind the battery that you can plug a chip to have the 3G mobile. What’s new? Nothing, except we did not pay a lot extra to enjoy the technology, unlike many other brands. If you’re tired of dragging your USB adapter, the S10-2 may be a good option.
Verdict: IdeaPad S10-2

By the choice of 3G standard, Lenovo could have put the emphasis on autonomy in order to ensure long working hours without a single cable. But the only Chinese brand NETBOOK a pretty, pretty well done, but without any real flavor.
